After the big monsoon, the north side of the shoulder at the biggest wash has disappeared. Other not so bad spots further south on Sunset after the turn.

In the last couple weeks we've had two significant accidents at the intersection of Sunset Road and Park Ridge Drive. In the ten years I've lived here, there have been numerous more.

Last night a driver from the south on Sunset Road failed to make the eastbound curve and destroyed our cluster mailbox as well as a resident's individual mailbox. The Sheriff department assigned number 230109055 to today's case. This accident is very similar to one I reported on SeeClickFix a couple years ago. Thankfully Pima Transportation installed the sign you can see in the picture.

In the picture you can see the sign, the tracks where the driver drove over the individual's mailbox, and the slab that still remains after the Post Office removed the remnants of the cluster mailbox.

Two weeks ago, a driver coming from the east on Sunset Road failed to make the turn and crashed into a Mesquite tree and brush just south of Park Ridge Drive.

Our fear is one day someone will miss the curve and run into eastward bound traffic on Park Ridge Dr. or a more serious accident off the Sunset shoulders.

Would warning grooves like those used when approaching stop signs be an option from both the south and from the east?

A neighbor moved away May 2021 and left these trash cans at the regular pickup location. We've asked Waste Management twice to pick them up, most recently a month ago. They promised to pick them up in a few days each time. We also tried to deliver them to Waste Management on Ina Road, but they insisted they could not accept them because a contractor is assigned to do it. Can you dispose of them? They are near the mail cluster where Sunset turns south as you come from Silverbell.
