    Sidewalk Defect Acknowledged

    There’s a big crack between road and sidewalk ramp, hidden here under the water. Wheelchair users like myself can’t easily get across it. The crack has been there for ten years and I periodically report it. The response has been that the whole area is due for an upgrade. I teach at MIT in Stata and have to deal with this every day. Ten years seems like a long enough wait!!

    Missing bricks/asphalt knocked me off my mobility scooter here. My wife trying to catch me fell into a car and is being X-rayed for possibly broken ribs. It's happened before at this exact spot. (Issue ID: 7406789.) Repairs were made in 2020 but they eventually gave out.

    Clement Morgan Park is entirely unshovelled and mostly iced over. I am disabled, on an electric mobility scooter, and it took me 20 minutes to get through with a teenager's kind help.
