    Hello,
    It has been well over a year since my case S21-51879 and the report has not been updated and no one has contacted me. It is my intention to pursue this case at the small claims office and I can’t do this unless I get an updated report.

    Multiple Follow up emails were sent to the Deputy Chief and and the sergeant to whom the case was assigned on 7-15-21.

    How can I file a formal complaint to the hit and run division regarding how my case is being handled?

    Hello,
    On 5/2 my complaint regarding case S21- 51879 was forwarded to a Deputy Chief and a response was received that an email was sent to the Sergeant in charge of the officer who the case was assigned to on 7/15/2021. I was informed the sergeant in charge is away at training that week but will respond to you via email upon his return to the office the following week.
    Today is 6/16 which is over 6 weeks since that update and I am still waiting on an email or phone call. Thank you

    Good day,
    I want to submit a formal complaint to the Bridgeport Police Hit and Run Unit. It has been 10 months since my incident and the report has not been updated.
    I have been contacting the Hit and Run division during business hours, leaving voicemails and relaying messages and I have been ignored. I have not gotten any calls back. I know the person who hit my car was found in July 2021 and I am still waiting on an updated report. I have been checking in with the Records Deparment and my incident report is not updated yet. I spent my money and time to get an incomplete report already. The only thing I want is justice. Again, I want to submit a formal complaint on how my case has been handled so far. Thanks

    I would like to know how to submit a formal complaint to the Bridgeport Police Hit and Run Division.
    It has been over 7 months and I have not gotten any updates on my case since July. I have been calling and my calls have been ignored.
    At this rate I will not be able to make justice and recover my money lost on my car.

    I filed a hit and run complaint on June and the police report is not finalized yet. The perpetrator of the accident was identified in July and he was going to be interviewed.
    I have been calling and leaving voice messages to the records division, the traffic division and the hit and run division for an update on my case. I also contacted the officer in charge of the investigation but I have not received any answers. What could I do at this point?
