Trash pickup times, related to an earlier issue.
Ran into trash pickup happening Thursday, the day before official trash day. I asked if our pickup day had changed. Reply: no, but someone (he pointed down the block) had complained about early hour pickups, so company had split the difference and is now making runs on two days to comply with ordinance.
While it's nice that they are observing time restrictions, it sucks that we have an extra morning of noise. And I don't know when my trash bin will get emptied.
I assume this work is contracted out by property owners, but will the City please look into possibilities? Contracts available by bid per neighborhood, perhaps? Any other ideas?
Please help reduce noise and traffic, particularly near IAA, and give me a reliable trash pick up day.
