    308-398 Montana Ave Nokomis, FL, 34275, USA - Laurel
    Since the hurricane clean up is pretty much taken care of I would like to bring light to the continued flooding on Montana Ave every time it rains. The fix the county did last year or early 2022 on the UPHILL storm drain did absolutely no help to the downhill slope of this street. I am unable to get in and out of my driveway when we have heavy rains and the ground is saturated. Please take another look at this problem with storm water runoff because the drain at the top of the hill towards the intercoastal is doing nothing for a major portion of this road which is a constant thoroughfare for residents on Bayshore and Sorrento Shores and all of their delivery trucks.

    These holes are likely from the multiple BIG trucks driving daily on Montana hauling dirt, rock, construction & deliveries and recent hurricane damage / repairs. FedEx - UPS deliveries to homes on Bayshore to the south and Sorrento Shores residents to the north.

    There are 10-15 pot holes up and down Montana Avenue (between Bayside Pkwy and Bayshore Rd) it is like playing ping pong driving down the road. There are multiple delivery trucks, FedEx, UPS, going up and down the road daily and the normal subdivision traffic causing road deterioration. Use our county taxpayer money and please fix the road!!!
