  • 78-108 Bloomer Road North Salem, New York - Peach Lake
Bloomer road needs to be paved immediately! This is the worst road I have ever seen. I have been avoiding it for about 2 years because it was really bad then and I thought today: Well, it must be paved by now. Wrong! There are traffic barrels along the sides of the road and some road equipment parked in a couple of places but no work has been done. It is essentially one lane for 2 directions because cars can't stay in one lane. It is so bad. Please pave this road!!!
  • 139-183 Lincolndale Road Katonah, New York - Westchester County
Route 202 in Somers (Lincolndale) between the traffic light at Rte 118 and Brick Hill Road is pretty horrendous on both sides. The worst part is in front of the Anglebrook Golf course and across from the Lincolndale Boy's School (Eastbound). This road had been repaired with "ribbons" dividing each side of the road in thirds. The eastbound side in front of the Golf course is *horrendous*! They totally neglected the right hand third of the road, which is one big pothole for about a mile. Cars must constantly be riding on the double yellow line to avoid this. Very safe, right? God forbid if a bike rider is there on the right. The bike must ride in the middle of the road because the potholes are more dangerous for them. So the cars must ride even further over the line. Also, this is a road which is a main route to all 4 schools in Somers. Lots of traffic. Just FYI, This road, 202 and also 118 were last paved about 22 years ago! Can't they even afford to pave these roads every 20 years?! C'mon now! Tax dollars?
  • 1-129 Tomahawk Street Yorktown Heights, New York - Westchester County
Varying thirds of the road, left, middle and right, that have been "temporarily" repaired with "ribbons" are chewed up with varying shapes and sizes of potholes. Cars are dodging them like ballerinas all across the road. Especially dangerous at night with people who may be unfamiliar with this situation. This is mostly on the northbound side between the traffic lights at Rte 35 and Rte 202.
  • 100 U.S. Route 202 Lincolndale, New York - Lincolndale
This section of Rte 202 in Somers, across form the Lincolndale School and directly in front of the Anglebrook Golf Club (on the eastbound side) is in such terrible shape that the cars are skittering down the road and weaving to avoid the potholes. The whole road from left to right is broken up and even the shoulder is in terrible shape. It is so bad that it was recently "repaired" with clods of asphalt but there are *still* potholes because they didn't even fill all of them. It is especially dangerous if there is a cyclist on this part of the road because they can't stay in the shoulder. which is full of holes and gravel, and the cars and cyclists have no where to go on this busy section of road. This is the only way to get to Somers Town Hall from a western direction. IT IS AN ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN.
  • Lincolndale NY 10589 - Lincolndale
Brick Hill Rd that connects two parts of Route 202 in Somers is a very steep hill completely covered with potholes and patches and is dangerous with cars trying to avoid them, flying down this hill.
