    The constituent at 14 Winch Street recently contacted me again about this pothole. I first entered this pothole into SeeClickFix almost a year ago (May 2023). Somehow, the pothole request was removed from the system even after I had to re-enter the same request in July of last year. There also is a hole in the sidewalk farther up from the pothole caused by a snow plow this winter. In the general vicinity, the road seems to be sinking and separating.

    The Church of God Pentecostal M.I. recently contacted me about installing Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons (PHBs) at the crosswalk from the church entrance at 276 Water Street to the sidewalk across the street in front of church's parking lot. So this is a request for the PHBs at that location. But in the meantime, please repaint the crosswalk as soon as city crosswalk painting begins this spring.

    A constituent contacted me today about this pothole in front of 83 Charles Street because she destroyed her car tire driving into this pothole yesterday. There also are a couple of smaller potholes up Charles Street as you approach South Street.

    A constituent of Putnam Park contacted me about these bushes as a public safety issue. The bushes make it difficult for drivers to pull out of Putnam Park onto South Street. Sgt. Boudreau of the police's Traffic Division took a look at it this week and determined that the bushes are blocking a driver's sight line. Since the bushes are so close to the road, I am asking if it would be possible to trim back the bushes for public safety reasons.

    Recently, I spoke to the elderly constituent at 80 Elizabeth Street. She would like the DPW to repair the cracked and uneven sidewalk in front of her home. Fixing the sidewalk would help her, her elderly husband, and elderly visitors to her home from falling due the deteriorating condition of the sidewalk.
