    The owner of 481 Enfield Street where Dollar General and Carr Hardware continues to fail to clean snow and leaves on the walkway behind their building that borders Dover Road. It is a constant hazard and eyesore for our community of residents who take care of their homes and are looking for this business that neighbors us to be mindful and responsible and respectful of the neighbors that live behind their building. Please help us get this resolved as soon as possible. Thank you

    Every year the owner of the building that occupies Dollar General in Enfield does not pick up any of the leaves that fall from its many trees on the sides and back of their building leaving the sidewalks covered, clogging storm drains, and forcing surrounding property owners to fight a loosing battle to clean their lawns before winter. This ongoing issue with this property owner is both irresponsible and disrespectful.

    The sidewalk that is next to the fence that wraps around Colony Rd and Dover Rd (which is behind the building that houses Dollar General and Carr Hardware) is overgrown and contains liter and a broken street light that is just sitting on the ground. The owner of the building is responsible for the upkeep. Also a huge tree fell about 2 months ago on that property and ended up laying across Dover Road and the remains of the tree are still not picked up and the fence is still broken. Our neighborhood has had to complain about the lack of upkeep in this same area every year in order to get the Owner of this building to maintain the back of this property.     The back of this building's sidewalk and surrounding grass area that borders Colony Rd, Enfield CT & Dover Rd, Enfield CT -this area is in need of a major cleaning - it has piles of old leaves, high grass and and discarded litter. The sidewalk itself needs major repairs as well.
