This sign is slightly attached at base but is leaning against the tree. Could fall into street in heavy wind. It had been mounted in the concrete walk which, thankfully, was replaced.

Looks as though somebody clubbed this control at SE corner.

These bins and more from the same addresses are always left out well after pick-up day. There used to be a threat of $250 / day if they were left out more than 24 hours. LCI never makes it by here. How do we get this done?

This car has been here well over a week at least. It is displaying a Zone 3 Tag but it does not move for Street Sweeping which occurred today. They may not learn their lesson as it was not ticketed for a $100 fine as is the policy. We alert our neighbors whenever possible. This owner cannot be found.

Since originally posted, the timing of walk lights has changed to the walk signal only coming on every other cycle of changing traffic: east-west, WALK, north-south, east-west, north-south, east-west, WALK. The problem is the 7 seconds given to cross through paved walk lanes is not enough if eaten up by cars ignoring the signal or cars backed into the intersection because Trumbull is clogged. It is not an uncommon situation. Yesterday, three people began to cross Trumbull on the west side of Orange, but the cars were blocking the walk lane. The seven seconds were gone and we had to back out of the way of cars coming down Orange. I hear "Safe Streets" being said, but it is not happening here. Keep the every-other cycle but gives us more time. It would also give more time to get cars moving out of the intersection.

Various vehicles filling the street as UI works on overhead wires. This truck parked illegally in a non space blocked the view of our trash bin. After they pushed it back to get out of their truck, they threw their trash into the bin.

Please come back and empty. Thank you.

The wind has blown it over. I set it straight but it is held upright only by a stick stuck in the concrete. It is very heavy and very sharp---a danger to pedestrians and property.

I called Traffic & Parking but the main number 203-946-8075 is disconnected. I tried 3 times—same result.

I then called 203-946-6316 with all the infomation given to the Police Non-emergency number.

SeeClickFIx categories are limited. After the major storm weeks ago all power was lost here in this area when a tree was blown down. The wires, other than electrical were put back—but lower than usual. A week ago, in the night, some taller than expected vehicle went through and pulled down phone and cable lines. The fire department came in a ladder truck on Thursday last and cleared the street of the wires, tied some up as shown here and cut others. We had our cable restored the next day much as we did weeks ago with 50-100 feet of new cable.

The owner of the property adjacent to 36 Trumbull Street will be cutting the wires off his fence in the very new future.

Before the hurricane, the tree limb with brown leaves was broke off from the tree and fell until it hung up on the the overhead wires. After the hurricane the limb is now moved to the left and was stopped by the electrical wires supplying 415 Orange Street.

This ladder was discovered up against our house behind the bushes. I pulled it out to the curb for fear somebody was planning something nefarious or they saw the value of all that aluminum in a damaged ladder.

There are potholes along a filled trench for cabling done in 2001. A few were filled by the repaving men a few weeks ago. Further from their work zone there are others. They are not a big deal for any vehicle with shock absorbers—but for trucks, with equipment not secured and parts not secured, the sounds are horrendous, sometimes sounding like gunshots on impact.

There is also a sink hole on Orange Street near the stop line going north. Nearly invisible, it has the equivalent result when a truck hits it. It is actually more easily seen at night when the on-coming cars lights leave it in darkness.

Please give these a look. If you are out when trucks are making deliveries: early evening or early morning, you will know what I mean.

This rotted 4 x 6 debris obviously fell off somebodies junk truck and was moved to the sidewalk. Could we have it removed?

    Thanks.
