Sidewalk Issue Archived9551 Ne New Brooklyn Rd Bainbridge Island WA 98110, United States - Bainbridge IslandSidewalk is covered with about 2 inches of mud. This creates a significant safety hazard as people appear to have slipped on the muddy sidewalk. It also is a water drainage issue that should be fixed by the city. Water does not drain from the sidewalk in this location, and instead puddles dust allowing accumulation of mud

Code Enforcement Issue Archived47.63862 -122.51936 - Bainbridge IslandViolation of state and city stormwater regulations. The city required the park district to put up a silt fence around their dirt pile that was running down the hill into the lake and Ravine Creek. Unfortunately, the park district did not follow the state stormwater manual, which requires silt fence to be dug in. The park districts implementation allows the salt to run under the fence, making it just for show and not for function. Require them to follow the state stormwater manual. Additionally, the silt fence only covers part of the pile and dirt can still run around the fence as well. It should be extended.

Illegal Dumping Archived47.63866 -122.52058 - Bainbridge IslandLloverflowing trashcan. Please stop saying this is a Park district problem. While this may be on park district land, plastic that falls out of this trashcan will eventually make its way illegally into city and state waters which can be harmful to birds fish in the overall environment. This is a city problem. And, the city needs to lean on the park district to do a better job. I will keep reporting this until the city does some thingoo
