    A few years ago when the power lines came down in a snow storm on South Main, repairs were made and the pole was anchored to a Norway Maple on the corner park. The cable is negatively impacting the tree which will begin to decline rapidly if the cable is not removed. Not sure if this will be addressed when they finish the S Main project this year but wanted to bring it to someone's attention. This anchor should be relocated.

    This hole that was originally dug for a new utility pole is getting bigger and now the granite curbing used to cover it up has broken and fallen in. The hole was never used and is now a major hazard. Please fill it in as a soon as possible

    Hello,
    The Ash trees on the common have been hit by the Emerald Ash Borer. This morning I observed an adult beetle, a younger larva and multiple “D” shaped exit holes throughout the stems. These trees need to removed and chipped up as soon as possible to prevent the spread of this highly invasive pest.
