    Hi,
I know you've already sent an inspector here. I'm just being a pest (haha, see what I did there?). There are so many rats. Big, daytime, pizza loving rats. They have revived a burrow on our property that we had managed to close off and wipe out just a couple months ago. We have exterminators scheduled to come MONTHLY. The exterminator is now coming twice this month after today's sighting. I know this is a losing battle. I know that the rats in our yard will never be gone so long as we live adjacent to unsecured trashcans full of pizza scraps and unfinished ice cream cones. I am just writing to try to keep alive my dwindling hopes that one day there might be FEWER rats in the city of Cambridge. Anything the city could do would be amazing. Thank you for your time.

(PS: I am saying this is a restaurant, but technically its restaurant adjacent)

Just discovered a big rat burrow between our AC unit and the foundation wall. There was also a dead baby rat just a few feet away.

A private waste company comes and empties the dumpster stored in the loading dock of Chang Sho restaurant waaaaaay early. This morning they came at 4:50 AM.

Not sure if this is the most appropriate place to post this, but they (the city of Cambridge I believe) come pick up the commercial trash bins from restaurants on this section of Mass Ave at 5:30 AM. Seems like the noise ordinance does not allow for that until 7? Being rocketed awake by the sound of truck hydraulics and big trash bins being thrown around right outside your bedroom window is fairly unpleasant. Let me know if I should send this complaint elsewhere.

    Thanks!
