This is a copy of an email from a resident of the Madison Cottages to our secretary. I have filed this notice repeatedly. Here is one more try.

    Katherine,

As you know, there has been an unsightly coil of orange plastic conduit leaning against our sign for almost a year. I recently talked to a supervisor for the building project across the street, and he said he knew nothing about it. Is there any way to get rid of it? I know it’s on the public right-of-way, but someone must know what it’s for—and how to put it where it really belongs.

    Thanks,

    John

This development and workers have been in non-compliance many, many times. It began with the initial clearing which also began before 7 and continued past 7. They have not repaired the sidewalk across the street and have not replanted the vegetation. What are the consequences? Apparently none, since they continue without concern for the law.

The vegetation was removed to trench for cable access. We would like it restored.

Over a year ago, in conjunction with an impending development across the street, this street, sidewalk, and vegetation was altered. At that time, I spoke with the 'foreman' and he assured me the sidewalk would be repoured, the vegetation replaced and the hole filled. None of this has happened and it appears as if the development is stalled. We would like the sidewalk and vegetation restored and the hole filled in.
