North/south bound traffic light at Octotillo and Greenfield has green arrows triggering (both directions) with no cars in those turn lanes...the east/west bound appears to be triggering more often as well...drove through there this morning at 9:30 and again at i think 11:30 with the same results

east/west bound signal is getting triggered to green when there is no traffic in the east/west bound lanes
  • E Chandler Heights Rd & S Greenfield Rd Gilbert, AZ, 85298, USA - Gilbert

this is a repeat issue...see previous "issue ID 14397819" & "issue ID 14695801"...this is still a problem...just observed it this morning around 7:45ish??

repaste of the issue: east bound chandler heights: the left turn signal onto north bound greenfield road is turning green with no car in the turn lane.
and the green arrow stays green FOREVER. Please fix ASAP

NEW NOTE: if you are still repairing the malfunctioning part, can you at least shorten the length of the arrow until you fix this??

This is a repeat request...was fixed for a while, but has reverted back...it's been like this for some time, but i'm just getting around to reporting it:

The signal light at greenfield and queen creek needs adjusted. When travelling north or south bound, this light doesn’t stay green long enough for trailing traffic to make it through...this is in the earlier hours...this morning at 5:30 am, the light only stayed green for 10 seconds (i counted). The east west stays green for a very long time for this time of morning compared to north and south. It does work better later in the morning when it stays green longer (went through it around 8 am this morning)
Please add more time to the north/south direction...cars aren't getting through the light in that short of time.

the intersection of Val Vista and Appleby (northbound or southbound): this light onstantly triggers when there is not eastbound or westbound traffic. being a minor road, it should not trigger unless there is a vehicle. i routinely go through this light between 5-6 am and went through it sunday evening at 8 pm and no traffic east or westbound and it turns red for north and southbound traffic on val vista. then the light stays red for a very long time. i understand during the school day this length may be needed, but not after hours and not unless triggered by traffic. please correct this

the Greenfield and Chandler Heights intersection T's/dead ends south bound. the left turning lane (to go east on chandler heights) gets backed up, especially during busy time. it does a decent job of getting traffice through the light. however, there is enough room for a 2 lane left turn...just some paint to make the adjustment...possibly an arrow if needed. it is exactly like the recker and pecos intersection. i know this isn't a quick fix, but this needs to be put in the works as it would solve the west/east bound traffic backing up waiting for a longer light, etc.
  • S Greenfield Rd & E Pecos Rd Gilbert, AZ, 85297, USA - Gilbert
at around 5 am this last week (can give exact day if needed), (it was rainy and dark). at the Greenfield and Pecos intersection, north bound, i was waiting to turn left/west onto pecos. i was in the right of the two left turning lanes. the arrow went through two cylces and never turned green for me. I ended up having to get through the intersection another way. appears to be a malfunction. I had this happen to me several months ago, always in the early hours.
  • S Greenfield Rd & E Ocotillo Rd Gilbert, AZ, 85298, USA - Gilbert
this intersection (greenfield and ocotillo) has been giving a left green arrow to the north bound traffic with no cars present...and it stays green for some time. appears to be a malfunction.
  • S Greenfield Rd & E Queen Creek Rd Gilbert, AZ, 85298, USA - Gilbert
The signal light at greenfield and queen creek needs adjusted. When travelling north or south bound, this light doesn’t stay green long enough for trailing traffic to make it through. The east west stays green for an excessive amount of time compared to north and south. Additionally, if there is a car on north and no cars at the south, only the north will turn green and any cars coming from the opposite direction will not get a light as they are approaching. This happens in both directions. This is a problem for cars and for cyclists…I was waiting on my bike for the light in the bike lane…I didn’t push the pedestrian crossing because there was a car on the other side, but the light did not activate on both sides and so I wasn’t able to go through. I don’t understand why that would ever happen…I see no advantage to just activating one side…if one is active then make them both active. Finally, in comparison, the light at greenfield and octotillo stays green for the east/west direction (where there is very little traffic as a result of octotillo not going through) longer than the north/south greenfield at queen creek…that doesn’t make any sense. Please extend the length of the light and activate both sides every time. I’ve seen this activating on one side at other gilbert lights and it needs to be discontinued.
  • E Arrowhead Trl & S Higley Rd Gilbert, AZ, 85297, USA - Gilbert
the signal light from lowes and Arrowhead Trail (east/west) is extremely poor in timing...when at the intersection of Higley and Queen Creek, traveling north bound on this high volume road, the light turns green, and the light at Arrowhead Trail will turn red right as we are approaching it. This should turn red after all the traffic passes…huge pile up of traffic and now we won’t make the green light at germann as a result, stopping traffic AGAIN. I’ve also noticed that this light appears to turn red twice in the time the Higley and Queen creek light turns red. Way too much emphasis on the side street where the main street should be the emphasis. Please adjust this timing.
