    Water is backing up into the facility at Detroit City Distillery - 1000 Maple St, Detroit - 48207. There is a sink hole on the outside of the building; where it has been discovered that the sewer piping has collapsed. This has previously been reported on 2/28/2024 (No investigation as of yet) using the address 1300 Maple St, which is at the same site.

    This is a follow up on an issue with low water pressure at KAPS Wholesale Food Svc - 1300 Maple ST 48207. 2 DWSD techs came out on 2/20/2024 and suggested that we have plumbers come back out to service bathrooms. Bathrooms have been serviced and we are still experiencing low pressure. The supply gate at the entrance to our property has been leaking for over a month??? Please update if this may be related to the water low pressure issues that we have been experiencing. The water leaking from the supply gate has pooled up over the curb and is running towards a sink hole that was covered with a steel plate.

    New Sink Hole near sewer at1300 Maple St. Detroit 48207 - KAPS Wholesale Food Svc. First reported on May 5, 2022. Original sink hole was covered with a metal plate. New sink hole has appeared lees than 10 ft away from the covered sink hole at the intersection near Maple St. and Rivard.
