I want to propose a blinking crosswalk light/signage with a button for the crosswalk on Oak st located at the corner of Oak st and MacArthur Rd. This is the crosswalk leading to the path to Mathworks field and Lilja School parking lot. Many, many kids and adults use this crosswalk daily and unfortunately people rarely stop for pedestrians. Living on Oak St I have seen way too many accident here and I would honestly think this is a no brainier. For those who do not know this is an entrance way many students use (including my own) to walk to school in the morning. If any folks have used this crosswalk I think they would agree. Please let me know any steps I need to complete to have this concern addressed. I feel this is a very easy fix to a very large problem. I do not want to be dramatic, but this needs to be addressed before God forbid someone gets hit or there is a car accident because only 1 this car stops due to no blinking light.
