    There are some few branches still alive on this wonderful Dawn Redwood tree and it is possible that he could make it if it is given sufficient care. What’s baffling to me is that the ginkgo next to it has received more watering from the contractor during these dangerously hot days

    If the tree does not make it, I hope the city will plant another dawn redwood and water it .

    You mentioned in the other ticket that the dawn redwood is under warranty and being watered by a contractor. I find it curious that the ginkgo tree right next to it had a full gator bag of water while both gator bags on the dawn redwood were completely dry. Do these two trees have different contractors with different warranties? Just bring it to your attention.

    Three of the few migratory monarch butterflies that I’ve seen this year were in the park near the weeks from the bridge along the river. Now that the migratory monarch is on the red list of endangered species, perhaps the city could apply some effort in planting milkweed along the river. There is some now and there could be so much more.

    Roofers near here appear to have had an accident and release far too much petroleum based solvent It's giving everyone headaches Perhaps toluene, which is a dangerous chemical Hopefully they can be shutdown and fined
