There is a light at Capital Connection and Capital Blvd Just south of where Durant and Perry Creek Road intersect at Capital, that is timed wrong. As it is, traffic going south on Capital Blvd, frequently have to stop at this light. If the light was timed to turn green a minute before the light at Capital and Durant turns green for Southbound traffic, the cars going South on Capital wouldn't have to stop for the light.
As it is, there is a short period of time where there is no Southbound traffic between the lights at Durant and Capital Connection. The traffic waiting to turn left at Capital Connection could easily turn left during this time if there was no light, or if the light was timed correctly. If it was timed correctly, the traffic going South at this red light wouldn't have to stop. The traffic trying to turn left at this light is only affected by one light, which is the light for Southbound traffic on Durant. This traffic light only affects people turning left. It would be very easy to fix this problem. I hope I have described it accurately. As it is, people turning left are very tempted to run this light. And people going South at rush hour in the morning frequently have to stop and the traffic gets backed up.
