Here’s a novel idea. Let’s catch this vandal and hold him a accountable.

Tags now on two historic brick buildings and a chimney on College Street. One is above Pascolo’s restaurant; the others atop the old Free Press building. So much for taggers only working on abandoned buildings an in vacant lots.

Sadly, vandals are taking over our city and elected officials are doing nothing about it. Let’s empower our police force to conduct surveillance apprehend, and hold accountable these vandals.

The now abandoned Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception is now tagged with graffiti. This is a prime new target.

Here’s a novel idea. Let’s catch these little reprobates and make them clean up their obscene, sacrilegious mess. City actions:
1. Clean up the current tags
2. Before dark, install hidden surveillance cameras.
3. Stake out the site.
4. When the taggers start to work ,nab them.
5. To avoid prosecution, put them to work removing tags throughout the city for one week. If they don’t play ball, use the camera footage to help convict them.

Seems simple, right? Then why hasn’t it been done? What are you waiting for Burlington?
