    Washington St Jersey City, NJ, 07302, USA - The Waterfront

    Construction for the PATH substation has taken away one of the two travel lanes on Washington southbound. If the parking on the west side of Washington was eliminated for the duration of construction we would be back to two travel lanes on this highly important and heavily used north-to-south artery.

    The red car in the picture occupies the only remaining travel lane and the white car is in a lane marked for parking.

    We really need two travel lanes back.

    Stop sign on Warren heading north has been knocked down and is lying in the grass.

    Caven Point Road between Bayview Ave and Chapel Ave was scraped about 9-10 months ago (in preparation for resurfacing?). This section of Caven Point Road has remained extremely rough and needs resurfacing.
  • Warren St & Dudley St Jersey City, New Jersey, 07302 - Downtown
    The Warren & Dudley intersection is the only one around that is not an all-way stop. It's common for traffic heading west on Dudley to believe that the traffic going north or south on Warren also have a stop sign. This is exacerbated by delivery trucks parking close to the corners limiting visibility and making it dangerous for pedestrians crossing Dudley.
    Please consider making this junction an all-way stop to match everything else along Warren.

    Pedestrian crossing markings have faded/abraded so much that traffic cannot see them.

    There is no indication that York St is one-way heading east. Cars travelling south on Warren Street have been turning right (west) onto York which is one-way the other way.

    Please add appropriate traffic signage.

    Two spotted lantern flies at Goldman Sachs yesterday afternoon (8/18/2021 about 3:30pm). They flew onto a pillar at the south east corner of the building, closest to the Colgate Clock.

    How long are ice cream vans allowed to play their tune? One van is outside our apartment building now and the tune has been going around for 40 minutes now with no pause or break and it's driving us mad even with our windows closed.
