    My name is Carmen Patton, I own the property at 3050 El Monte Ave and my back fence is adjacent to the open space owned by the City of Oakland. I have lived here for 59 years and previously the City would maintain a fire break on the path and clear for overgrown foliage. I had my gardener clear foliage from my fence on the City side, because the goats that were here last week don't get that close.
    I believe that my neighbors have contacted the City for clearance of tree branches that fell during the winds of several months back. Can the City make this area a necessary project in the near future? Dead tree limbs are in abundance and create a fire hazard near our properties.

    88th Ave, one block below MacArthur Blvd. There are about 5 or 6 very large potholes in the street., They are large and close together so that they cannot be avoided. The destruction to auto tires would be significant. I have not seen so many potholes in one block! Please make this a priority!
