This pole was replaced by UI after Sandy and they never removed the snapped pole. It's an eyesore. Additionally, the replacement was put so close to the road that cars keeps hitting it and, as a consequence, are jeopardizing the utility service to all the homes connected to the pole.

There is an abundance of poison ivy and weeds. These weeds and poison ivy are growing onto the sidewalk. This is a very heavily used sidewalk. Someone from the city please come and weed whack the weeds back into Edgewood Park. Thank you

Many, trucks, cars, busses run the red lights on Whalley during the morning hours. I was almost hit by a car driving excessive speeds who went right through this light. This happens too often. I never see police enforcement ever. An officer could easily set up on the West Rock Extension and catch people one after the other running this light and help make our city a little safer.

This blocks is, per signage, closed to through trucks. Can the police sit on the road and start enforcing this? Large box trucks and bigger come plowing up and down this block all times of day and night, disregarding the signs at the entrance to the block. As the auto traffic has increased on the block it is very narrow and the trucks frequently travel the double-yellow lines into oncoming traffic.

The sidewalks on this stretch of Rte 69 from the cutoff to Rte 15. to the city line with Woodbridge are completely covered in sand and trash or missing all together. This is very heavily trafficked by pedestrians.

Is there a way for the traffic department to consider making one side of this block, between Whalley and Yale, residential, permitted parking after 5 or 6PM weekdays and on weekends? There are many more businesses on Whalley and in the ARLOW space and the tenants of the multi-tenant housing on this block, ARLOW, the apartment on the corner of W. Rock Ext and Whalley, and tenants of W. Rock Ext. are being locked out of parking on Thursday through Sunday nights due to events in the park, the Farmers' Marketing, events at Lyric Hall and the restaurants in the neighborhood. Perhaps residential parking on one side of the street only is a happy medium, providing both parking for residents and visitors. There is a public parking lot with meters for visitors to the above-mentioned places but residents should be able to park on their own block

Excessive speeding to beat red light and to get up hill. Please put in speed humps. Residential neighborhood, heavily used park entrance, busy commercial corner and all this with highway speeds up and down. Someone will surely be killed before long if the city doesn't address this block.

Within the past couple weeks the village has been accumulating filth. Does public works have sidewalk and street clean up? Such a shame for how much work the community does. There is garbage everywhere.
