The walk signal has been out for weeks or months I can’t even remember! I assumed it would be fixed since the community path is right there but it has been off for so long. I finally was reminded to submit this today because as I walked up a kid was hitting the button over and over very frustrated, they’d been waiting multiple traffic cycles so at least 10 minutes to cross one street. Another group of young girls was on the other side walking back from the mall, and i go running on the path/ through this intersection often, so I told them they could cross when School had a red light and Arsenal has a green, but to be very careful as both directions of traffic from Arsenal Street can turn then. It was stressful watching them have to do this but that is the only option with the walk signal broken. Please fix this ASAP. it’s a very popular and dangerous intersection for people walking. I know it probably just missed the radar, the fact that the Arsenal St path is there makes it even more unacceptable that this light is broken - the path is supposed to be a safe place for people of all ages and abilities.
