  • Damaged Sign Archived
Clarendon St & Columbus Ave Boston, MA, 02116, USA - South End
Self-contradictory signage. Notice that the upper sign points away from the crosswalk; the arrow on the button is oriented correctly.
  • 36 Pearl Street Randolph, MA, 02368, USA - Randolph
The footpath connecting Pearl St. and Credit Union Way has become blocked by a sagging tree branch within the past few days. Is this path maintained by the town, or should I talk to the adjacent property owners?
  • Allen Ct & Depot St Town of Randolph, MA, 02368, USA - Randolph

At Depot St. & Allen Ct., the pavement markings for the crosswalk have almost completely faded away. Please restore the markings.

This is particularly important because the crosswalk is at an odd angle owing to the configuration of the intersection and the footpath and Dunkin’ access.

  • 4 Oak Street Randolph, MA, 02368, USA - Randolph
On the northeast corner of the intersection of N. Main St. and Oak St., the arrow on the “push to cross” button for the crosswalk on Oak St. is pointing *away* from the crosswalk. This means that it is not clear whether this is the correct button to use. Please correct the signage.
  • 1065 N Main Street Randolph, MA, 02368, USA - Randolph
The “push to cross” button on the northeast corner of the intersection of N. Main St. and Pond St. is overgrown and obscured by vegetation. Please trim the vegetation or consider relocating the button.
  • 332-354 West St Town of Braintree, MA, 02184, USA - Braintree
Although there are bus stops at the Five Corners, there appear to be no signs indicating their location. Please put up signs so passengers know where to stand to board the bus.
  • Adams St & Dorchester Ave Boston, MA, 02122, USA - South Dorchester
The tools on the bike repair station appear to have been ripped off the cable.
  • Pleasant St & N Main St Randolph, Massachusetts, 02368 - Randolph
Left turns between Pleasant St., N. Main St., and West St. are often very difficult due to the high traffic on Main St. and the configuration of the intersection. Can this area be considered for a small roundabout or, failing that, a traffic light?
  • 397-399 Harvard St Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Mid-Cambridge
Meter HARV-0385 is broken (and ate 25¢ before I realized this).
  • 1151 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA, 02138, USA - Mid-Cambridge
Parking meter MASS-1149 appears not to be working. The display just shows “1001” rather than the elapsed time.
  • Museum Of Science Monsignor Obrien Hwy, Cambridge, MA, 02141, USA - Central
On Rt. 28 southbound by the Museum of Science, signs say to use the middle lane for I-93 southbound. However, the middle lane has recently been redesignated for buses only, and so these signs can no longer be obeyed legally. Please correct the signs so that they are consistent with the new lane markings.
  • Massachusetts Ave & Bigelow St Cambridge, MA, 02139, USA - Mid-Cambridge
The sidewalk is closed for construction in front of City Hall, so when pedestrians walk south on Mass. Ave., they see a sign at Mass. Ave. and Bigelow St. saying “sidewalk closed—cross here”, with an arrow pointing across Mass. Ave. Unfortunately there’s no crosswalk on Mass. Ave. at this spot, so there’s no way to follow this sign safely. Perhaps a temporary crosswalk could be marked, or the “cross here” sign could be moved one block north to Clinton St., where there is a crosswalk?
  • 12 Hoeg Street Randolph, MA, 02368, USA - Randolph
The overhead wires in front of 12 Hoeg Street are hanging as low as 6–8 feet above ground, instead of up on the pole where they belong.
  • 73 Mazzeo Drive Randolph, MA, 02368, USA - Randolph
When the traffic light at Mazzeo Drive & Thomas Patten Drive is in blinking mode, the westbound Mazzeo Drive side displays flashing red on one signal head and flashing yellow on the others. This makes it quite unclear whether drivers are supposed to stop.
  • 149 Massachusetts Avenue Cambridge, MA, 02139, USA - The Port

The pavement markings on Massachusetts Avenue in the block between Vassar and Albany Streets are nearly invisible: some have worn off and others have been paved over. Today I nearly got into an accident because an oncoming driver and I interpreted the pavement markings differently.

Please restripe this block so that it is clear which lane is where.
