Our basement flooded with crystal clear water that seems to have come from either a fire line, a break in the mainline or well water. We had a plumber out and they said that due to the nature of the water, the fact that there is no chlorine, that we are the only house effected on our street and that we are right next to a main water line, that this is a result of city provided water. The water flow is constant and fills our basement with 1/2" of water every few hours.

We need someone to come out and check to determine where the source of the water is coming from before we have a company come out and attempt to abate the water flooding our basement.

We have the plumber scheduled for Monday, but we need the city to come out first to find out where the flooding is coming from. We suspect that it a source of city water and if that is the case, then we need it fixed as soon as possible to stop the flooding of our basement.
