I live right on this corner. We have seen the amount of accidents climb at a steady rate over the past 3 years since they widened Redwood Road. We just had a bad one yesterday. Thankfully it seems no one was seriously injured. Most of these accidents are people running the yellow or red light. Especially heading southbound on redwood road. I have experienced trauma and short term PTSD from having to run out to accidents and call 911. I’ve called them so many times the last few years. If you simply put in a recording traffic camera here it has the potential to deter people from running the red light SO often. As my front yard is where me and my kids play (because we do not have a back yard) I’m lucky that no accidents have happened to where they come into my yard. We do have a raised concrete barrier that protects my yard. But the amount of speeding that happens on redwood road is astounding. Please please put in a camera that records.
