The lines when turning left from Fayetteville Road onto Herndon Road need reprinting. I was almost hit today by someone who assumed that the righthand left turn lane went to the righthand lane on Herndon (it doesn't; it goes to the middle lane) and that the lefthand lane went to the middle lane. The dashed line shows what's currently correct - but few people know it.

The broader, better solution is, in fact, to make the lanes go the way most people assume they do (right-to-right, left-to-middle). If, however, that's not possible, then they at least need to be clear, because too many people *do* get confused.
