Lots of these mattress signs placed around Capital Blvd. Here at the Ollie's parking lot, up at Chic-fil-a on Capital and more. City should call the number posted and tell them to clean them up.

The property owner at 3501 Capital Blvd is letting everyone use his parking lot as a dumping grounds again. There are wood pallets, trash and mattresses stacked by the dumpsters behind CiCi's Pizza and multiple unregistered vehicles being stored in the parking lot. These include several box trucks with the rear-doors open and trash bags being stored inside and buses that the neighboring auto repair shop are storing and working on in the parking lot during the day and evening hours.

Someone has proudly "repainted" the whole front side of the building with various forms of graffiti. Basically from the ground to the roof, looks like they went undisturbed for a while, it's a mess.
  • 3800 Greywood Drive Raleigh, North Carolina - Raleigh Council District B
There is a toilet base and some old wood pallets dumped in the woods here and need to be addressed by the property owner. You can see these items driving down Pine Knoll (may not be visible from Greywood).

Two large pieces of furniture and other trash items have been dumped at the end of the road here and need to be addressed.

Two pairs of white shoes have been tossed over the power lines at the intersection of Saratoga Dr and New Hope Church Rd. Please have these removed.

For reference, this is a reoccurring issue at this intersection: http://www.seeclickfix.com/issues/733672

There are two sets of white shoes - one hanging over the lines at the intersection of Saratoga Dr and New Hope Church Rd - and the other set at the same location, hanging over the lines that cross New Hope.

The loose dog reported in issue 222343 was out and about again Sunday. Animal Control was called yesterday, but I did not see them respond in the area - not sure if they spotted the dog elsewhere so I'm opening a new report.

More dumping has occurred at 3501 Capital Blvd. This time there are mattresses at two different dumpsters on the property and more pallets. One dumpster is located in the parking lot on the CiCi's Pizza side and the other is located behind the shopping center on the Chuck E Cheese side.

The "Only" lane signage on Capital Blvd headed South at the Millbrook intersection needs to be enforced or the signage removed. People run straight through the light all the time, ignoring both the pavement paint and hanging sign at the intersection informing drivers they should turn right at the intersection. Since there is no impediment either at the beginning or ending of the intersection no one obeys the signs. Either a concrete barrier needs to be installed enforcing a right turn or just remove the postings.

A very large dog, looks like a German Shepherd has been struck and is along the side of Capital Blvd, headed Southbound. This is near the Food Lion around the 3100 block.

Issues with fuel trucks turning right onto Six Forks from Wake Forest. Recently I have noticed on multiple occasions semi trucks blocking the flow of traffic while trying to turn right onto Six Forks at the Wake Forest intersection (headed South). There is simply not enough room to make a right turn with a trailer attached. These trucks swing wide to the left and still need to come into both left-turning lanes of Wake Forest at the light. The cars on Wake Forest either have to back up if possible or the truck has to attempt to back up. All of this is going on while the lights are cycling and traffic is at a stand-still. So far the offenders I see are fuel trucks and they may be trying to get to the fuel stations on Six Forks at the Kroger shopping center. Has there been an issue with this before? It seems like recently it's been happening a lot and I wonder if its a new driver. Are there currently any rules about these large trucks using this intersection? It seems like they should exit off 440 at Six Forks and head South instead of exiting from Wake Forest and trying to squeeze through the intersection. Mostly just an inconvenience, but I am curious.

Left-Turn signal timing needs to be evaluated and adjusted. This is for traffic headed North on Capital and turning left onto Old Buffalo. The signal lasts about 4 seconds and lets a few cars through while there may be 15 in line. This causes the turn lane traffic to back up into the ongoing Capital Blvd traffic lanes creating dangerous conditions with cars blocking the through lanes and erratic braking by motorists.

Several residents have recently raised concern about the construction going on behind the Backyard Leisure store that is within the strip-mall at 3501 Capital Blvd. There has been trench-work done, a concrete slab poured, and it appears they are planning to install either a below-ground and/or above-ground pool unit. There is also concern whether or not a fence is going to be installed due to after-hours safety hazards. I have tried to use the Wake County online resources available to search for public permits but this is not working for this location. Could you please verify the work being performed at this location is being reported and is within code? Thank you!

A couple very large potholes have opened up at the intersection of Brentwood Rd and New Hope Church Rd, possibly 2 to 3 inches deep and 1 foot across. They are right near the red light cameras in that area.

The "bad credit" signs have popped up again everywhere - here at the Six Forks intersection off I-440, along Capital Blvd...all over the city. Also, I've seen these Amy Bonis signs popping up - here at the Six Forks intersection and the off-ramp from I-440 intersecting with Wake Forest Road. I'm sure there are more out there. If you do "Google" Amy Bonis as the sign says it leads to "900 Ridgefield Drive, Raleigh 27609."

Residents have seen a blue and orange tent pop up from their back yards recently in a wooded space between them and Adventure Landing. I have attached a map with a general location of the tent and an aerial view from Google maps which shows what appears to be a lot of trash or dumping going on in the same area. Could you report this so the local officers could check out the tent and surrounding conditions?

Someone has put Carpet Cleaning signs out all around Capital Blvd., Atlantic Ave. and inside private neighborhoods. No business name is included only a phone number, perhaps a city official needs to call them and remind that these signs violate code.
  • North Blvd Raleigh, NC - East Raleigh
If you drive down Person headed towards Capital Blvd and come to the intersection across from Circus at the red blinking light - there is a black car (I think it may be a Nissan Sentra) parked along the side of the road as you proceed through the light. It appears to have no plates and may be abandoned.

One of those large 4 bulb mobile lamps used for lighting during night construction or after events at the RBC was burning this morning on my way to I-40. It's right at the RBC center on Wade Ave. Not sure who has responsibility for that...but they're wearing their lights out burning it during the day :-)
