Crosswalks ArchivedHuron Pkwy + Geddes Ann Arbor Charter Twp, MI 48105, USA - Ann ArborSignal to cross here is very short clocking in around 6 seconds for a 4 lane. I don't imagine that was by design? wasn't able to walk through it even at a brisk speed and had to run the last 1/4 of the walk.

Signal repair Archived202 Glen Ave Ann Arbor, MI 48104, USA - Ann Arborthis light seems to be messed up in some way. the green stays on for a very long time backing up traffic and leading to jaywalking. probably worth an investigation given the construction.

Sidewalk issue Archived217 S State St Ann Arbor, MI 48104, USA - Ann ArborCans blocking sidewalk and limiting ADA access and walkability. I wonder if we can limit street parking on trash days and use the spots as new locations for the cans to get picked up.

Crosswalks Archived2201-2207 Fuller Ct Ann Arbor, MI, 48105, USA - Ann ArborThis intersection is becoming somewhat dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists (even outside rush hour) as the brick wall prevents much of an extended sight line for motorists and the right on red encourages pulling up into the crosswalk behavior. This can lead to situations where motorists get awful close to hitting pedestrians or cyclists and also to situations where they block the crosswalk during the "walk" signal. I think this should be considered for a no turn on red sign or at least a raised crosswalk and/or street treatment similar to the one at Fuller and Glen. Markings are also somewhat faded and this isn't helping either.

Crosswalks Archived1475 Huron Pkwy Ann Arbor, MI 48105, USA - Ann ArborYield to pedestrian sign is only on the left of this road which may be confusing drivers when pedestrians come from the right. Had a close call today where one car stopped on the left but the one on the right almost hit me and blew through the crosswalk as I was in it to turn right rather than yielding.

Crosswalks Archived100-198 Fletcher St Ann Arbor, MI, 48109, USA - Ann ArborThis crosswalk has no signage and it is unclear to pedestrians and cars alike who is supposed to yield here. It would be beneficial to have a flex-pole yield to pedestrian bollard here or just some signs conveying that. Especially during rush hour and the busy traffic coming from the parking deck nearby.

Crosswalks Archived1100-1132 E Huron St Ann Arbor, MI, 48104, USA - Ann ArborThis pedestrian signal does not provide a countdown and given the length of the lead-up to the signal and the walk across the street it might be beneficial to pedestrians and cyclists alike to have this replaced with the countdown variety (crosswalk sign that shows a countdown next to the hand rathe than just a hand). The base is damaged anyway so this could be 2 birds with one stone.
