There was a tree planted in the empty space on the empty space you see in the photo. It was nice having it for many years, and we tried to maintain it, watering, weeding around it, etc., but it never looked great and died a few years ago. We had previously talked to someone at the tree commission and somebody came out during the pandemic but we never heard anything more.
