    Hello,

The Huntington road / Huntington avenue / Upson Terrace roads bypass Townsend avenue and Woodward avenue. As a result , drivers cut through this residential community, speeding and tearing down the street, at all hours of the day and night. This creates a genuine concern for safety and property. This Sunday a driver jumped the curb, hit a traffic sign on my property containing two signs (ironically a 25mph speed limit and "slow children" signs). The signpost was hit with such force it broke at the base. Our neighbor reported this to the police.

This ongoing issue, of speeding and excessive speed joy-riding creates safety and quality of life issues. I believe if this was a more affluent area this would have been addressed long ago and hope you will get on it to install speed humps and Radar monitoring on thus side-street cut through.

Thank you for your commitment to the safety of new haven residents. I have emailed and spoken with my alder person, Jody, and left messages at both engineering and traffic/ parking departments.

greetings, for some reason this street lamp is jumbo sized, throwing far more light than the other street lamps in the neighborhood. most critically, this shines right into our bedrooms and yards, over lighting the nearby homes. can this be replaced with a standard sized fuxture?. please note the second picture is the extra large fixture. the third photo is a picture of the standard neighborhood fixtures, which throw an appropriate amount of light.

    thank you!

    Greetings,
This tree (I believe it is a beech) has a blight and is dead. I am concerned about it falling and damaging the house (87 Clarendon Street). Could you look at it and have it removed? The tree in question is directly adjacent to the driveway of 87 Clarendon Street (Which is on Huntington Avenue). Disregard the East Haven town coming up. Although the zip code is East Haven, it is in fact in New Haven. Thank you!
