    Another rut caused by rain in front of 37 Lawton Rd.

    Filling this with gravel every time it washes out isn't a good solution for this. We need curbs so water is diverted away from the edge of the road. The way it is now causes edge erosion which will shorten the life of the road and increase the need to do an expensive repave job. My two cents anyway.

    Lawton Road is on a hill and during rain events, rain water picks up speed and is eroding the sides of the asphalt road. Please send a crew out to our street to take a look. For a great example, check out the gully in front of 37 Lawton Road. There are many other places where erosion is evident. Thanks.
