  • 5529 Thornhill Dr Oakland, California, 94611 - Merriwood
This is not a pedestrian signal issue, but you have no category for non-functioning bike loops. Twice in the last week, as a bicyclist, I've had to wait through several cycles to trigger the light for traffic westbound on Thornhill Drive turning left onto Moraga Avenue. The well-marked bike loop does not work and there is no way for a bicyclist to trigger the light or turn against traffic; the only option is to wait patiently until a vehicle finally arrives in the intersection. This is a recurring problem; please repair the bike loop!
  • 10171 Skyline Blvd Oakland, California, 94619 - Joaquin Miller Park
The severe deterioration of Skyline above Joaquin Miller, especially on the tight curves, has been repeatedly documented. It appears that the badly needed total resurfacing is still years away, meaning more unnecessary hazards to descending bicyclists. In the meantime, PW really needs to REGULARLY check this stretch of roadway and patch the numerous recurring potholes. Now, in a move that defies logic, it appears that a crew came through and patched a few of the potholes while leaving others untouched. Please patch ALL the potholes before someone is seriously injured.
  • Broadway & Keith Ave Oakland, CA, 94618, USA - Rockridge
I've previously reported the lack of synchronization of the "no right turn" illuminated sign and the bike traffic light for bicyclists eastbound on Keith, turning left onto the Broadway bike path (last report on 6/16/22, reported closed by service req #1215782 on 9/23/22). Transiting the intersection today, I encountered the "no right turn" light activated, but the bike light was red. A video of the sequence can be seen at: https://youtu.be/dLNmtXrS3fk
  • 2724 Mountain Blvd Oakland, California, 94602 - Piedmont Pines
A pothole that stands out from all the others on this stretch of Mountain! Time to move up the priority of resurfacing this stretch of roadway.
  • Broadway & Keith Ave Oakland, CA, 94618, USA - Upper Rockridge
I've observed several instances recently where the "no right turn" sign and bicycle green light are not in sync at eastbound Keith approaching Broadway. And I see other similar reports going back 4 years! The attached photo is a screenshot of a video taken today showing the bike light green but the "no right turn" sign is dark. The turn sign did not illuminate until about 2 seconds after the green light, presenting a hazardous situation for bicyclists crossing the intersection. The turn sign should illuminate first.
  • Tunnel Rd Oakland, CA, 94618, USA - Oakland
Construction vehicles blocking bike lane on SB Hwy 13, forcing bicyclist out into speeding traffic. No warning signs, no effort to alert drivers or protect bicyclists.
  • Broadway & Keith Ave Oakland, CA, 94618, USA - Rockridge
Twice in the last few days I've approached this intersection traveling east (uphill) on Keith. At Broadway, the "no right turn" light is illuminated when traffic on Keith has a green left arrow, but the bike traffic signal remains red. Seems the two are no longer coordinated.

  • 8503-8537 Skyline Blvd Oakland, CA, 94611, USA - US Congressional District CA9
Not sure this is the best location, but it's the best I can do. PG&E is repaving Skyline adjacent to Skyline Gate; the surface is, at best, undulating. No better than the temporary patches that were put in several months ago.
