114 Fletcher Street Lowell, MA 01854, USA - Lowell
This set of lights goes green for Suffolk St. way to often without any traffic requesting a green. Backing traffic up on to Thorndike St. during rush hours. There should be a traffic camera there or new ground sensors installed.

Half of Lincoln St. Was paced a few years back but the other half was never completed. There are multiple raised casting on this road that are a traffic hazard. Did the contractor never finish their job? When will this road be completed?

  • Traffic Concern Acknowledged
Rourke Bridge Lowell, MA 01854, USA - Lowell
I know this is a MassHighway intersection but this 1 intersection has an astronomical trickle down affect that stretches miles through Lowell. The outbound signal releasing traffic from the Rourke bridge is only 26 seconds long during rush hour traffic! This should be at least a minute. And se will say that thus change will only create more traffic on the boulevard, look at the photos included, there is no "traffic" in either direction. But the traffic over the bridge stretched all the way back up Wood St. into Chelmsford, back up Middlesex St. to the intersection of Pawatucket St. and back up Wrstford St. at least to the intersection of Stedman St. There simply needs to be a timing adjustment. The left hand turn signal heading westbound (u turn lane) also is triggered when no vehicles are there, further slowing down traffic. This traffic not only affects commuters, but deters consumers from heading to local businesses during these hours, and certainly affects the local home owners. For an issue that has been so long term, it surprising that nothing has been done sooner! If you could keep us updated with and plans MassHighway may have to help this issue(besides the new bridge that won't happen any time soon) it would be greatly appreciated.

550-638 Ouelette Bridge Lowell, MA 01850, USA - Lowell
Homeless camp along river next to the Aiken Street bridge. After all the money the city spent to relocate these camps, we really need to stay on top of this issue now that summer is coming. Before it gets out if hand again.

Flooding at multiple points on the Father Morrisete Blvd.
  • 497-537 Dutton Street Lowell National Historical Park, Lowell, MA 01854, USA - Lowell
There should be a no left hand turn sign or the curve should be continued so vehicles can not turn left or make a U turn at the American a Textile Museum/Sun Building. I drive this route frequently and have nearly been involved in many accidents. The turning vehicles cannot safely get out if the travel lane and are unable to see in coming traffic in the opposing right lane if a vehicle stops to let them go in the opposing left lane. A sign more than likely would not solve the issue and therefore a barrier of some sort should be installed.

  • 316-398 Arcand Drive Lowell, MA 01852, USA - Lowell
Center lane should be marked as a straight lane only toward the Tsongas arena since Father Morrisette Blvd. has been made one lane. Vehicles turning left have try try and merge too quickly. A sign should be put up showing the arrows for all three lanes, right hand only arrow, straight only arrow, and left hand only arrow.

Traffic signal for outbound traffic trying to head east onto Pawtucket St. from Fletcher St. is not nearly long enough during pm rush hour traffic. Only about 5 cars have enough time to get through while about 40 are backed up on Fletcher.
