Blighted CLEAR CHANNEL billboards at this location have been an ongoing problem for decades. What's it going to take to get them to do what's right by the neighborhood?

The cover on a curbside utility box is broken and what (to my untrained eyes) appears to be high voltage electrical cable is protruding.

Heavily damaged news rack appears to be abandoned and needs to be removed.

Found this sign laying in the grass in Splash Pad Park and leaned it against the tree so it would be less of a tripping hazard and also easier to find if someone can get out tomorrow to pick it up and return it to it's original location -- wherever that might be.

Ivy encroaching on the sidewalk and low shrubbery overhead make for a pedestrian pathway that's not nearly as pedestrian friendly as it should be. This should be a fairly easy and inexpensive fix that would make a significant difference.

I understand the difficulties involved in removing encampments but this one on the west side of Grand under 580 is particularly nasty and partially blocking the sidewalk.

On February 8, I filed request #11930748 reporting that I was ticketed for parking in a No Parking zone despite the fact that the curb isn't painted red and there's no nearby signs--although there is the stub of one embedded in the sidewalk. Why was this issue closed the following day? The curb hasn't been painted and the sign has not been replaced as evidenced by this photo taken on Friday.

Five of the 8 up-lights at the base of the freeway support pillars on the east side of Grand Avenue have been damaged/destroyed. This is especially infuriating in that this is the result of pure vandalism and has occurred just a year after the city hired a contractor to upgrade and/or replace all the Splash Pad lighting.

This past Saturday, I received a ticket for parking in a "No Parking Anytime" zone on Grand Avenue under the overpass adjacent to the entrance to the school parking lot. I hadn't a clue that this was the case since the curb isn't painted red; several other cars were parked in front of me; and the nearest no parking sign was practically invisible on the far end of the underpass and partially obscured by other signage. If you look closely at the photo you can see the remnants of what was most likely a "No Parking Sign". Please replace and/or paint the curb red.

None of the lighting in the Lake Park parking lot under the freeway was working tonight and it's dark and scary. Quick fix please.

On the east side of Grand Avenue under the 580 freeway. This encampment has been an ongoing problem for years but right now, it's as bad as its ever been and totally unacceptable for a location adjacent to the Farmers Market and Christmas Tree lot and also on the main approach to the Grand Lake commercial district. Please clean it up as quickly as possible and work with Alameda County Health Services to get this individual off the street and into supportive housing.

This morning, the 4th Sunday Splash Pad Grand Crew volunteers did a lot of raking and weeding and plucked two dozen palm fronds that were ready to fall on their own accord. Everything is stacked on the Lake Park side of the park directly across the street from the Bank of America.

Slat on bench is damaged and totally detached. This particular bench is at the base of the hill adjacent to splash pad plaza.

Feces in Splash Pad Park in 3 locations:
    1. To the left of the first walkway that parallels Grand about 10 feet beyond the seating wall. Marked with a plastic food receptacle.
    2. Just behind the seating wall about 20 feet to the east
    3. Just behind the seating wall just past the second walkway - marked with a traffic cone. Farmers Market is tomorrow.

Two problems with the Splash Pad Park fountain:

    1. The water return grate on the right side is partially detached posing a safety hazard for children splashing in the fountain.

    2. The water level is too high to the extent that the steel grates between the two sections are saturated and starting to rust.

FIY: I started this complaint over the phone around noon and was cut off. Feces in Splash Pad Park behind the seating wall that borders the plaza in 4 locations: 1: Behind the garbage can on the DG pathway + TP. 2: To the east on the DG pathway. 3 and 4: Behind the next section of the seating wall but on paving. The Farmers Market is tomorrow!

Human feces in two locations inside Splash Pad Park. The first to the left of the walkway closest to Grand Avenue about ten feet past the seating wall that borders the plaza. The second behind the seating wall about 15 feet to the east of the first walkway.

Roughly 10 feet of curb are missing and the adjacent gutter is heavily damaged as well including a large, fairly deep section of missing concrete. The damage (dating back at least 15 years) was caused by a 60-70 year-old street tree that was removed quite some time ago but the curb and gutter are continuing to deteriorate.

Feces and TP behind the middle seating wall. There's also multiple other locations along on the base of this wall that looks like the remnants of dried feces. Heading west (towards Grand Avenue) from this location, there is a very small amount of feces on the DG pathway with a trash can on the opposite side of the wall. There's a third location in the plaza at the far end of the fountain nearest the theater where there's a small pile of dirt. I can't be 100% sure that someone used dirt to cover up feces but it's the only explanation that makes sense.
