    I saw City staff reseating the manhole cover in the middle of the intersection of Maxwell and Lafayette. This is the wrong manhole cover. The one in question is to the one just to the east, opposite my driveway on Lafayette. Thanks.

    Outside contractors serviced the storm sewers on Lafayette Avenue last week. Since then every time a car drives over the manhole cover located on Lafayette Avenue opposite the driveway of my house (street address 109 Maxwell Avenue) it makes a loud clanking noise. This wakes me up at night. I suspect simply repositioning the cover (like it was before) will remedy this nuisance.
