    Contractor seeded center island to repair damage caused by National Grid's gas line installation. On the right of way and individual properties they covered the gravel soil left by National Grid with straw, but did not plant grass seed or do anything to repair the damage. Not sure whether it is National Grid or the city paying for the work, but the contractor should not be paid.

    City property at the corner of Ramsey and Hackett was used by the contractor rebuilding Ramsey Place to store equipment and supplies. When the work on the street was completed, the contractor left the property torn up and damaged. A barrier around the storm sewer grate remains in place, resulting in flooding every time it rains. This property needs to be regraded, replanted, and the drainage needs to be restored.
