Morningside park (where the Mayor had his press conference last week) is a mess. And now they've moved furniture in as well. Folks are living there.
  • Coal And Morningside Albuquerque New Mexico - Se Heights
It has been one year since I first called 311 about the lights out on COAL and LEAD in Nob Hill. There are NO lights for 5 or six blocks on both Coal and Lead. Are they white or yellow (per this website)? No idea. I can't remember. They've been out for at least A YEAR. 311 told me to call some company. I did. They did nothing. The CITY hired that company and are, thus responsible. You can not FIX THE CRIME PROBLEM in the dark. It's not possible. Note: this is exactly where the news recently reported on neighbors trying to convince the city to resolve issues. The photo below is right by Morningside Park (the location of MUCH police activity). WE NEED STREET LIGHTS.
  • 3901 Coal Avenue Southeast Albuquerque, New Mexico - Se Heights
The fancy Nob Hill lights along Coal Avenue between Carlisle and Washington have been out since about November. I called 311 in January and was told it was a private, for profit company in Texas (!) that was responsible for our street lights in Nob Hill. I called that company to report the lack of lights. Nothing. I called again in April. Nothing. VERY DARK. NOT SAFE
