    I said fine, they have completely incompetent landscape/Snow removal, I'll just do it myself. Sunday I went out work a couple of shovels, chunked all the ice and snow and cleaned up the hydrant the way it should be. I came home late last night and saw that they finally cleaned of the sidewalk. It looks like they bright in probably a tiny bobcat and cleaned the sidewalk the right way. In the process they filled snow back onto the hydrant!!!!! I waited a lot of years to finally get town services out here in the sticks and have a fire hydrant installed and I'm not going to tolerate this schmuck landscape company making it harder and harder on me to keep this hydrant open!!! We are real close to the "THIS IS WAR" point in the game. I am way beyond @#$% off at this point!!!

    Once again Tom the old guy is out doing contractors work. Not only was there no attempt at cleaning the hydrant, they still haven't finished cleaning the sidewalk.

    24 hours past end of snowfall and still buried. Since this hydrant was installed 10-ish years ago it has been the best maintained hydrant in town. I know because I maintained it!! Snow, weedwhacked, even put the pole back on after being vandalized. I find this to be completely unacceptable. I expect a minimum of four feet clearance. Dollar tree pays someone to plow and clear the walk, make sure they clear the hydrant too!!
