All sorts of crap; makes this place look like Calcutta during a garbage strike.
  • 8725 E St Oakland, CA, 94621, USA - Highland
A big load of household garbage was dumped here last night. I suppose the scary signs posted on G street diverted the dumpers from their usual spot, so they went a couple of blocks east instead...

U-Haul truck dumped 2 refrigerators in the middle of the street and took off burning rubber - didn't get license plate. Plenty more junk dumped where the sidewalk should be, (but isn't for some reason).

  • 8725 E Street Oakland, California - Highland
PG&E excavated a large pile of gravel and dirt over a month ago, in the course of installing new gas lines (which are leaking gas through the cover plate). I called PG&E about the gas - the guy that came out said it was a low-priority leak that could take 18 months (!) to fix; he had no estimate on when the debris pile would be addressed - not his department, I guess.. The pile also incorporates some scrap doors and lumber, for some reason...
  • 977 88th Avenue Oakland, California - Highland
A large pile of miscellaneous debris, surmounted by a giant stuffed zebra, is eagerly awaiting pickup next to an abandoned auto with an extremely old notification of illegal parking pasted on it.
  • 9841 Pippin Street Oakland, California - North Stonehurst
Someone with the same MO has dumped here repeatedly in recent days - he ties a rope to a signpole, the other end to the load of garbage in the back of his truck, and drives off. This stuff is blocking a driveway - please get it immediately.
  • 9841 Pippin Street Oakland, California - South Stonehurst
This damaged Nissan Altima, plate # 6ALRH773, has been parked here for more than a week. Please tow it away - this area is so choked with illegally dumped garbage and abandoned vehicles that it's almost impossible to find a parking place.
  • 851-899 Prune Street Oakland, California - North Stonehurst
Abandoned Jaguar sedan with front end damage, plate 5R0J934 has been here more than a week without moving. Please tow it away.

This Ford Sport wagon/truck has been sitting here for more than a week, stuffed with garbage and with its plates removed. I don't think the owners are coming back. Please take it away.
  • 850-898 Prune Street Oakland, California - North Stonehurst
This trailer, license plate 1KS9303, with people living in it, has been parked in the same spot for more than a week. I thought it was illegal to live in a vehicle on the public streets, and that one could only park in one place for 3 days. Please cite and tow,
  • 9829 San Leandro Street Oakland, California - North Stonehurst
Random broken plastic storage bins and cabinet doors, etc.
  • 8725 E St. Oakland, California - Highland
Construction debris - doors, futon frame, miscellaneous garbage has been sitting here way too long.
  • 851-899 Prune Street Oakland, California - North Stonehurst
Furniture, mattresses, and the residues from someone's pot farm. These guys keep dumping their unwanted soil, pots, stems and leaves here, in the same spot - they are evidently creatures of habit - and then the street people have to go through all the plastic bags to see if there's anything smokable. It's a big mess spreading out over the sidewalk and into the street, taking up all the parking spaces.
