Overnight, someone dumped trash along the stretch of Precita from Folsom to Shotwell. Please be sure to get all of it so I don’t have to file a another report.

    Smelly trash
  • 201 Precita Ave San Francisco, CA, 94110, USA - Bernal Heights

This sewer drain is 100% backed up. As a result, the sidewalks are completely flooded and water is perilously close to flooding basements.

Please assign a high priority to getting this fixed.

  • 218 Precita Avenue San Francisco, California - Bernal Heights

The sewer immediately in front of 218 Precita Avenue is open and leaking water onto sidewalk and street. The smell is foul. This problem has been going on since late June. City workers were on site in mid July and dug up the sidewalk and later the street, but as of right now, the spilled sewage and foul smell have not been corrected. There is a giant hole in the sidewalk that's a tripping hazard for pedestrians.

The accompanying image shows where city workers have removed the sidewalk, partially covered it with ply wood and placed an upside-down orange traffic cone into the sewer hole. It is surrounded by gray, foul-smelling water that is seeping onto the street. In a follow-on comment, I will post a separate photo showing the water crossing Precita Avenue.

The severity of this problem and the length of time the city has allowed it to last is unacceptable. Please abate it at once!

The northwest gate to the playground does not latch properly. Toddlers can run out of the park. Please fix.
  • 267 Precita Avenue San Francisco, CA - Bernal Heights

I've seen more cars blow right through this stop sign than usual in the past month. I'm guessing the tree making it almost impossible to see the stop sign may have something to do with it.

To sign is located on Precita Avenue at the corner of Shotwell. To see it on Google Street View, click the following link:

How do we go about getting the tree branches trimmed?

  • 217 Precita Avenue San Francisco, CA - Bernal Heights

Four or five times a year, someone leaves their unwanted junk in front of 215-217 Precita Avenue. It's happened again. A broken chair has been sitting in front of this address for at least five days.

Neighbors, please don't leave your garbage on the sidewalk. If you don't want it, chances are no one else does either.

A reminder that leaving stuff like this on the sidewalk is not only inconsiderate. It's also illegal.

  • 125 Precita Avenue San Francisco, CA - Bernal Heights

This large cardboard box has been sitting in front of 125 Precita Avenue for the past 72 hours. Discarded trash, mattresses and other items are common around here. More than once, vandals have lit the debris on fire, prompting an emergency call from the fire department.

This box caught my interest because it contained the FedEx shipping tag and a note the recipient (named Laura) had left for the delivery person.

I don't complain about the people living here leaving their trash can by the side of the street 24x7, but I've decided to draw the line at illegal dumping.

Laura, or other neighbors at 125 B Precita Avenue, please clean up after yourselves by tearing up the box into pieces and putting it in your recycling bin.

  • Huge birdcage Arquivada
143 Precita Avenue San Francisco, CA - Bernal Heights
This 6-foot-tall birdcage has been illegally dumped for three days now. The dumper has chained the cage to a fence, so a pair of bolt cutters will be necessary.
