    The perimeter fence on the Colony Road and Dover Rd side of this property is in very poor condition. There are panels that have rotted off, slats missing/broken/loise or leaning out over the sidewalk. Someone is going to get hurt if a panel falls on them, they get caught on it or impaled. Its an eyesore to the homeowners in the neighborhood who take such pride maintaining their property.

  • Corner Windor Street/Alden Avenue Enfield, Connecticut - polytest
    This is a very tricky corner to pull out from. Cars park right up to the hydrant causing a huge blind spot. Cars do not stop heading toward Church Street, because they have the right of way. I just had an issue this past weekend where I pulled out, car approached, I didnt even have time to back up into Windsor Street and the driver of the other car started screaming at me. Im surpised there arent more accidents on this corner and would appreciate this being looked into.

    Tipper barrels were put out on Monday for Tuesday pick up. Barrels werent on curb, but in the street, so the snow plow plowed around the barrels, narrowing the street. The barrels are still in the street because they are now packed in due to snow. The renters of this property should be fined for being ignorant. The plow guys should have plowed away their tipper barrels. The trash employees shouldnt have to climb up a snowbank to access the barrels. So is this problem going to compile until the snow melts?

    Several large trash bags on curb are now spilling into the street. Stray animals are getting into it. Apparently new tenants dont know they need to use a dumper barrel. Can this be addressed before the bags are completely torn open?

    Their refuse containers have been in the street for at least 2 weeks and make it difficult for snow plows to do a good job clearing the street. If they arent using them, where is their trash being dumped?

    Car with license plate 738ZUJ consistently parks past the "No Parking Past This Sign". Even in snow falls. One ticket would fix this problem! Could this please be addressed?

    Old, broken toys in street. The stuff has been on the street for 2 weeks now and Id be surprised if the people who put it there didn't call for bulk pick up. Also, their recycle barrel has been out on the street for 2 weeks.

    The lady who lives there is horrible to her little kids, screams at them, slaps them so hard you can hear it through walls. I only know her kids names because she is constantly screaming at them. She does daycare out of her house. I'll be my car taxes she isn't licensed. Her neighbors smoke pot in front of the house in the street.

    There should be a "no parking this side of street" sign on the "even" numbered side of the street. That sign was taken down by a snow plow several years ago. Cars park directly across from each other making it difficult to pass through. My fear is the obstruction might block an emergency vehicle. Can a sign be reposted or can this please be addressed?

    Duplex abandoned. Grass looks like hay, bushes overgrown and scratch cars that park on that side of street. Mosquito breeding ground. We never saw people move out but it appears empty? Very odd.

    Parking is a big issue. A "No Parking On This Side Of Street" would be nice on the lower numbered block. The new street work is complete and beautiful. However parking from all the local drug houses clog up the street and make it a safety issue should an ambulance or firetruck need to pass through. It would also be nice to see a cruiser once in a while in the evenings when drugs are being bought and sold in front of the house. Just a suggestions.

    No cruisers are in the neighborhood unless called, and when called, no action is taken. Drug dealers on each corner of White St./Windsor St. People outside screaming at each other, profanity, horn tooting late at night. No respect for neighbors. No one seems to care except for the people who have to get up and go to work in the morning. Grrrr.
