Thank you city of Huntsville for putting up a speed limit sign on Old Monrovia near Westview Drive. This was a neat idea to try and get AT&T from doing further damage to our yard and sidewalk. I’ll keep my eyes out to see how they react. Your idea was perfect. Just wanted to say thank you.

AT&T wins again. I am getting sick and tired of AT&T tearing up what my tax dollars paid for and that I have to maintain because of the location of my property. They drive their big bucket trucks over my lawn and make trenches that are extremely hard in my mower. I understand they have to get to their telephone box, but they can park in front of my hone and walk 50 feet to their box. A few of them do that, but very few. Can you put up no parking signs? The city did such a beautiful job of putting in the sidewalk and laying sod. Thank you city. Something has to be done about this. I’ll be sending a pic of the trenches they make for me to mow through. Can’t send two pic in this app. Thank you.

Could someone tell me when the street light at 1401 Westview Dr NW will be repaired. It’s been out for 4 months now. I realize it was one of the fiber optic companies that severed the wires, but does anyone have a clue which one did it or when “they” plan to fix it. I’d just like to know.

The water meter at my neighbors house next to mine appears to be leaking.

Could you coordinate with AT&T about parking on the grass in this area? While this is city property, I am responsible for keeping it up. AT&T parks here when they access their telephone box. They are making the area difficult to mow because of deep tire tracks from large vehicles. It is worse when the ground is wet. A few drivers have the courtesy to park on Westview Dr and walk the short distance, but they are the minority. I just like to keep my area looking nice. Thank you.

This is light reported a few weeks ago that the fiber optic crew cut the wire while digging. They are no longer working this area, and I was wondering when the light would be repaired.

The fill for this pothole has sunk to the point that it is a hazard to exiting traffic from Westview Dr

This is located in the right turn space off Westview Dr onto Old Monrovia. The sharp edges are going to cut a tire. The cap never stays in place and now the opening is beginning to break apart

This picture shows what is happening to the beautiful sod you recently had laid. Fortunately, I took this pic when the ground was totally dry. If you look, some of the sod is all torn up from the time the ground was wet. There are other places for AT&T to park.

This photo is from an AT&T service truck. They service their box on the property. They can easily park on Westview Drive and walk the 50 feet to the box. They have little respect for your property that I have to maintain. Suggest you advise AT&T of the situation. Let’s make this area as nice as can be and not an eye sore which is preventable.

An eye sore opus breeding ground for unwanted animals

The added sidewalk is a blessing and is serving many who had to walk in the street previously. I am happy to take care of the lawn associates with the sidewalk, but I need a favor. When Reed put the old clay/dirt down, it was simply too hard for the seed to germinate. It is also very rough on the south side of the sidewalk. What in ask from the city is to put a layer of topsoil on the south side, level it more and plant seed. After that, I’m happy to maintain it. I have removed most of the very large rocks that would have tore up a mower. Would appreciate your help. Than you.
