Slumlords - vacant house - red tagged. Grass more than 12" high going on 2 weeks now.
  • 1828 Davis Ave Lansing, Michigan - Lansing
TO CODE COMPLIANCE: There has been 5 to 7 trash/leaf bags at the curb going on 3 weeks now. The "slum lord" needs to inform his tenents that "city pickup" for yard waste will not pick up until spring and clear away those bags, and/or be issued a summons for violation of the City Ordinance.

1817 Davis Ave Lansing, Michigan - Lansing
CODE COMPLIANCE & Ms. Wood: The resident at 1817 Davis Ave has left a 20-25 foot, 4 wheel, wooden trailer parked in the street between 1824 and 1828 Davis Ave for over 10 days now and hasn't moved it at all. Beside violating a City Ordinance it interferes with trash/recycling pick-up and street cleaning/plowing. It also seems to encourage others to park in the street all hours - including 2-5 a.m.

CODE COMPLIANCE & Ms. Wood: The resident at 1817 Davis has left a wooden, 20-25 foot, 4 wheel trailer across the street in front of the houses at 1824 and 1828 Davis Ave. for over 10 days now and it has not been moved.
This creates problems for trash/ recycling pick, the street cleaners/plows and seems to encourage other residents to park in the street at all hours of the day and night.

I have reported a problem w/ the sidewalk ever since the sewer project was done a year or 2 ago. Ever since the heavy equipment was placed on the side walk there is a big uneven slab of the walkway that is getting more & more dangerous. I had been told several times that it would be looked into and repaired, but it still is not done. I also reported the street light out in front of 1834 Davis several times over the past month or two and it is still out.
