About a year ago, when the home owner built the fence along 1st Street, a load of fill (dirt and rocks) was dumped on the boulevard in the hopes grass would grow This has not been properly remedied by homeowner or the city City trees in this location (along First St) continue to suffer Also, the homeowner continues to expand the deck awning around the trees on the property

This property has not seen maintenance in a very, very long time Overgrown yard

The fire hydrant on the corner of First Street and Seventh Ave has been leaking water for the past two days. Water is draining down First Street

The tree in the traffic circle needs replaced. The tree blew down several months back and was never replaced. I would encourage the City to plant a tree with a high upright canopy in order to improve sight lines for drivers, pedestrians and cyclists.

The boulevard in this location (along First) looks terrible. The homeowners destroyed the City's section of boulevard when they built a large retaining wall about a year ago. They recently had a large dump truck deposit fill material along the boulevard in order to level it out. Unfortunately this material does not look suitable to grow grass. The two boulevard trees in this location are struggling. I am assuming the homeowner did not consult the City when they built the retaining wall which may have impacted the root system.

Some irrigation work is needed on the access trail to Glenbrook Ravine. Water flowing over stairs and trail.

Wheelchair let-down ramps are needed on the sidewalk. Intersection of Second Street and the alley that runs parallel between Glover and Sinclair Ave.

Wheelchair let-down ramps are needed on the sidewalk. There is no sidewalk let-downs located at the intersection of Second Street and the alley that runs parallel between Sinclar and Ovens Ave. (LOCATED on the EAST side of Second Street)

The safety of the pedestrian crosswalk could be improved. Parking of vehicles on the north side of 8th Avenue is permitted too close to the crosswalk. Visibility of pedestrians could easily be improved by eliminating just one parking spot. We can do better New West!

Pedestrians crossing East Columbia (towards Sapperton Landing) must still wait approximately 2 minutes for the light to change. Pressing the button should activate a red light within 60-90 seconds.

Takes approximately 2 minutes for pedestrian activated crossing to initiate the red light on Columbia. Seems this is only an issue when crossing towards Sapperton Landing Park. Not an issue when crossing back.

Street trees require removal and replacement along First street between 7th and 8th avenue. Trees are suffering from disease or pest infestation.
