Yesterday (30 Oct 2019) at 12:58 pm I was turning right from 2nd St NW to go east on Montano Blvd. I was watching the traffic light as it changed from green to yellow. Bus #722 (route 157) did not even make it to the crosswalk on the west side of the street before the light changed to red. This bus crossed 2nd St NW from the west side of the street to the east side of the street as the light was entirely red. For the safety of the the passengers on the bus and other vehicles a city bus should not be running red lights.

Yesterday the 157 bus (bus # 612) heading east on Montano which is scheduled to arrive at the Montano Transit Center (Rail Runner Station) at 3:54 pm did not arrive until 4:04 pm. This is ten minutes late. I usually transfer to the #5 bus (east bound) at San Mateo. The #5 bus at San Mateo is scheduled to arrive at 4:08 pm. The 157 bus is scheduled to arrive at San Mateo and Montgomery at 4:05 pm. This makes it very difficult to transfer when your first bus is always late. With the tardiness I have to wait another 20 minutes for the next #5 bus to arrive. Last week this same driver on this route was 8, 10 and 11 minute late on three different days. I would appreciate it very much if this driver could be reminded to try and be on time. I don't think I have ever been on a bus on time with this driver.

The 157 bus that is scheduled for Montano and the Rail Runner Station at 4:14 pm (heading east) has been consistently late for the past month. Yesterday the bus did not show up until 4:24 pm. He is 9 minutes late. Catching a connecting bus is difficult when this bus is consistently late. Four times since Feb 8th I had to wait for the next #5 bus at San Mateo because the #157 was running late. Three times I had to run to catch the #5 at San Mateo. The 157 bus is scheduled to be at San Mateo at 4:26 pm two minutes before the #5 bus. This has not happened in over a month. Two other issues: On March 7th the 157 bus driver answered his personal cell phone while driving the bus at San Mateo and Mongomery. Yesterday the 157 bus (bus # 750) did not yield to an emergency vehicle at Montgomery and Carlisle. He had plenty of time to stop, but he sped up to beat the firetruck. This is the same driver who was talking on his cell phone. I would really appreciate it if someone could advise this driver on safety and to be more on time. Thanks for your time -Jim

On Friday, June 29th I took the 157 bus going eastbound. The bus ID number was 632. This bus was scheduled to be at the Montano Transit Center at 3:54 pm. This bus did not show up until 4 pm which is six minutes late and there was only two passengers on the bus when I got on. This is hard for me to believe you cannot be on time with only two passengers. The 157 bus is scheduled to be at San Mateo Blvd three minutes before the 5 bus. However, the lateness of the 157 bus made me wait an additional half hour for the next #5 bus. Can someone "Please" tell this driver to be try to be on time. This is not the first time this has happened. This driver is always behind schedule when I ride this bus. Thank you.
