Debris from construction at the Vinoy is giving cars on 5th Ave NE flat tires. We have had several today at Vinoy Place condos.

By directing the lines into our easement and moving the entry gates to Bayshore from their normal places at the corners of the park near the end of 5th Ave NE and 7th Ave NE, the crowds are now trampling the landscape at Vinoy Place and dumping trash into our private dumpsters to get into or while waiting in line. We have spent more than $50k on security upgrades here this year, and now people are looking for new ways to jump the fence at the invitation of concert organizers. Why do we keep changing the methods that work.

The decision to block off Bayshore when there are events at Vinoy Park is causing lengthy traffic jams at Beach Drive. Residents trying to get to their home at Vinoy Place or the driveway at Vinoy Hotel are taking as long as 25 minutes to get a few blocks. Can this decision be reconsidered, as it appears to have made the traffic flow during events much, much worse.

For the last 10 weeks, vehicles have been stopping and idling for as long as an hour at the corner of 5th Avenue and Bayshore NE. We can not tell what they are doing or what they are waiting for, but the activity continues throughout the night and morning when most of the rest of the park side roads are empty downtown. We have lived here (next to the park) for four years and have never seen this kind of continuous flow of temporary parkers at all hours of day and night. Today at 6pm, we noticed six vehicles sitting in legal and in no parking areas, so I went outside to take pictures of them with my iPad for this report. The vehicles left within a minute of seeing me take pictures. Clearly something people don't want to be seen doing is happening at this corner. It is unlikely you will catch whatever it is unless you are willing to watch them longer than we have without them seeing you. Please help us figure out what all this continuous and nocturnal activity is. We are worried it may be illegal.

The light on the outdoor art sculpture in Vinoy Park is flashing like a slow stroble light.

Ice cream truck parks along aquatic center and vinoy park every day and runs their music over and over for hours. It us extremely disturbing for residents of Vinoy Place. Open a stand and turn off the music rather than pretend you are a mobile business.
