Trying to use the crosswalk, pressed the pedestrian button on south east corner of Shepard of Kalamazoo. At that time there was a green light on Kzoo, red on Shepard. No beep, nothing. Little red man started flashing on E-W pedestrian signals (yeah! should work) and then ended with traffic lights not changing and white hand came back on E-W. Impossible to get walk signal for N-S direction from that corner (aside from it being timed so that it won't kick in immediately, has to wait until the normal cycle time before it would change, annoying).

House appears abandoned. Very visible from front yard as of this morning when I left for work.

Property owner treats dirt at side of commercial building as a de facto parking lot which is not maintained. A large dumpster is parked in the parking lot. To empty dumpster, a truck drives over Michigan Avenue sidewalk. There is no barrier between parking lot and sidewalk as required by city ordinance 1024.02

Doesn't change when you are waiting. It is common enough (although not always) that when you are on Shepard, both northbound and southbound, and arrive at this light, the little white walking man changes to the red flashing hand and then back to the little white walking man without the signal changing. Last weekend, I saw someone waiting and finally they drove across on the red (going S to N on Shepard) after this happened. Many times I have decided to make a turn onto Kalamazoo and go up one block after this happened to me. What's up with the signal box? It is routine to have a 40+ second wait for the light to change--even when there is NO traffic on Kalamazoo.

Over entire lot. Especially look toward rear of property at the back of the parking area.
