    This car has out of state license plates and has been parked on my street for a week. It is taking away space from people who actually live on this street.

    Several times each week, between 8 and 8:30 am, a maroon, GMC SUV drives the wrong way down 1st Street NW, which is a one-way street. The SUV is very large and very loud; you can hear it coming a long way away. This is a repeated, intentional violation of traffic rules and it's also dangerous. Around the time this guy does it each day, school kids are leaving their homes. Please dispatch an officer to this location between 8 and 8:30 am on a weekday and you will see the violation in progress.

    This block is plagued by near-constant double parking by residents and visitors alike. Cars constantly block traffic and prevent other, regularly parked cars from moving. The current violation has been in progress for at least 30 minutes. I would strongly urge DC parking enforcement to issue tickets for these violations to discourage drivers from doing this all the time. As you can see in the attached photo, there is plenty of legal parking available. The driver has simply not bothered and is parked in the middle of the street instead.
