Cars parking illegally This is happening daily Cars pulling out of Brookes need to pull into the middle of Willard St (this is DANGEROUS) to see cars coming from the left Signage is confusing Cars are not being ticked or towed Sign closer to Brooke's Ave corner needs to be removed

No parking signs at 46 Willard street are not deterring people to park there One sign "no parking" is covered by a tree and then another sign states no parking anytime with a double ended arrow

Next steps:
Trim tree
and or replace signs to make it clear there is no parking there
Ticket and tow cars parking there

This is a safety hazard as cars are blocking sight of drivers pulling out of Brooke's Ave and aultimately te not able to see fast moving traffic coming f Pearlasteet until almost out into the middle of Willasteet

Another solutionremoveerg both spots after 46 Willard's driveway to alleviate blocked view of oncoming traffic

One spot was recently removed and these confusing signs were put up to help

Cars continue daily to park in this spot on the street. Photos of cars over the last few weeks were attached with numerous past issues all saying a parking enforcement official checked out the issue and there was no car...that is not the problem.

The problem is cars continue to park.
Happy to take pictures and continue to have parking enforcement go out over and over.

Cars ARE parking there.
Cars are BLOCKING drivers view.
SIGNAGE is NOT working.
Please resolve the real issue at hand.
REVISED SIGNAGE is needed so people do not park here and block the view of oncoming traffic.

Since students have returned to the city everyday a new car has been paring illegally in a no parking zone on Willard and the corner of Brookes 1// this is a no parking zone 2// it is a safety issue When pulling out of Brooke's Ave drivers can not see cars coming from the left from Pearl street until they are in the middle of Willard with cars parking illegally like this 3// Trees are covering some of the two signs indicating this area is a no parking area. This could be part of the issue.

Two cars parked Friday through weekend in a space meant for one car Heard as people parked "disregard that sign!" And walk away

How can this enforcement be regulated if code enforcement is not available during the weekend? What do we do when this happens over weekend ?a

The entire parking area behind this house which is accessed on Brookes ave smells of chemicals. And looks slick with whatever chemical was dumped or spilled. While walking my dog I became lightheaded while being overcome with the smell.

Today is Saturday 8/24. Garbage is on the greenbelt in front of this house on Brookes Ave. Garbage is spilling out of container onto the street and is being eaten by pests and squirrels. Bc today is Saturday the garbage will not be picked up until Monday 8/26.

The landlord has owned this house how long? Several years? We have lived here for 12 years and garbage has always been picked up on Mondays. Is this too hard of a concept to explain to renters?

I think fines would help the comprehension that garbage gets picked up on Mondays and recycling gets picked up on Tuesdays. Fines for the landlord. I have a feeling this issue would end if fines were imposed.

12 years of continuous problems. Let’s try something new and fine people. Make some money for our in city that’s in debt and make btv beautiful and RAISE THE QUALITY of life for residents instead of looking the other way at renters that come and go and bring the city down. Make this landlord take responsibility for their renters. And this issue will not persist.

Parking on Willard Street switched from One side to the other this past year. This is fine. Although trying to turn from Brookes Ave onto Willard st in either direction forces the car coming from Brookes to basically be in the middle of the north side of Willard street to see if on coming traffic is coming. When looking left towards Pearl street the parked cars block a good portion of the view of oncoming traffic. Perhaps two parked cars need to be removed so traffic can SAFELY enter Willard street.

Bags of garbage and furniture on front lawn. Trash pick up is on Monday. Recycling is on Tuesday. Not sure who or when furniture would be picked up. Today is Thursday. Four days at least until trash is picked up. And again not sure about furniture. This same house did the same thing this past weekend. #ticketthelandlords #moneytalks #loweringthequalityofBTVlife
